Yes and increase the baseline proc rate of CC by like 5-10%
I just went 20 seconds, non-stop casting, with an arcane artillery proc and no clearcasting proc. Two seconds after arcane artillery proc ended, I get a clearcasting proc.
This feels so terrible.
Does the hunter s3 set requiere special modifiers for their rapid fire to work? No. It just does. So why is it so difficult for arcane artillery to get the same treatment?
Arcane Artillery should be treated as a clearcasting proc!
It’s even worse in AoE because the set bonus has a massive countersynergy with Orb Barrage which of course is the only decent AoE talent we have. It’s like they didn’t take any of these blatantly obvious things into consideration when designing the set.
It would make such a difference if we could just fire off our artillery proc as if it was cc instead of fishing for a proc or hoping we have enough banked. Sometimes you just naturally don’t get another cc proc in time and have to send the artillery before it expires and it just feels so bad. And yeah in heavy aoe when you get orb barrage after orb barrage slowly watching the buff expire ffs
