I’ve heard this crap before. Over 20 years ago Wide Open West was promising me fiber to my house. Then it was AT&T U-verse. None of that was worth a fart in a hurricane - I still don’t have fiber.
I’ll get excited when they’re actually digging the trench in front of my house with a big spool of fiber sitting next to it. Until then it’s all hot air.

My neighborhood is too poor to get fiber. The best we can get is cable, maybe 5g in a few years.
