Systemic Institutional Discrimination Against Feral Druids

So instead of making a long boohoo about instance cap… Why not just ask for MCP to have no charges and be a permanent use effect.

How will I ever reach my limits if I stop reading recount?

Counterpoint: The change was needed and is good, and needs to stay.

You’re wrong.

Seems blizzard gets to decide that, not you.

I look forward to the day they make the right decision.

Judging by the antics those harping about this change are performing, I think they definitely made the right decision.

Counter-counter point. You’re wrong, I’m right.

Counter-counter-counter point: seems blizzard disagrees.

Or give druids viable weapons that are just as accessible as other classes’ weapons. I mean the fact that we need to farm level 30 weapons to be viable in both tanking and DPS says a lot about how flawed our class is.

Or do what druids did 15 years ago and just not need the weapon. Your damage is fine without it. Your threat is fine without it.

You’re not going to autoattack your way to top DPS or enough threat to hold the boss from your raid. As a cat, you have to still be playing your class right. As a bear you have other ways to front-load your threat than relying on this weapon.

Then in 20 mans and 5 mans, use your bleeds. In 40 mans, it’s going to depend on your raid setup. Wasting shadow damage debuff slots on 2 warlocks and 0 shadow priests is horrible compared to letting the cat use his abilities while he’s in a melee heavy raid group.

But that’s the other problem with this game. You guys read a guide written on how some other guild did the fight, and that becomes instantly set in stone that that’s how you’re doing it. That’s why so many guilds have struggled with strats on bosses throughout the entire life of WoW. It’s why ferals and rets used to have so much trouble getting into raid groups. Yeah, in a raid group built to favor ranged and casters, those two are going to be horrible. In a group that’s heavy on melee and adjusted to put the advantage into what’s making up most of their raid group, both can be your top damage.

Yea, now I know you don’t actually play classic. The meta is stacking warriors and rogues, there’s some casual groups that favor casters and likely the only ones that would be okay with the weak threat or dps that a feral without MCP would do.

You should educate yourself on warrior privilege.

Or I just understand basic math and have the logic and reasoning skills to think that certain warlock debuffs might be useless in a melee heavy group when you should be letting the melee get out that extra DPS instead. WC is another one. 1/3 of the fight is spent just getting that up to 5 stacks. Do you have enough mages in the group to justify it, or should your mage go heavier into arcane instead?

Imagine being considered a “real” DPS class and then doing worse than a meme spec with a gimmick weapon…boy, I’d be salty about that.

I think you forgot to say innervate, faerie fire, leader of the pack, hibernate, decurse, and the ability to tank or off heal with a gear change. You’re so right… virtually no utility aside from gimmick DPS.

There there little guy…you’ll always have massive buffs to your damage to look forward to in TBC. That should make you feel better.

Why is everyone insisting feral is a meme spec when many high end speedclearing guilds are using ferals to tank? I mean, they excel at tanking and with MCP their threat can be downright insane, they do a lot of damage even while off-tanking, they bring a brez and an innervate.

If you’re tanking…MCP is not "recommended, but rather mandatory in that respect. I mean…a lot of guilds demand you get world buffs and use consumables, MCP is a consume.
What’s a meme about that?

All of those can be brought to the table by a healing druid except LotP and that is currently being filled by the midsummer buff.

Comparing a melee DPS to a ranged dps is like comparing salt and sugar.

(HINT: You’re the salt.)

Lol Druids

They do stack.

Yes they do…

How the hell do you have so much Tier 2 and not know that?
