I made a separate chat tab and turned on system messages there. I want system message gone from the general tab and unchecked them. These keep coming back even if I edit the chat-cache.txt file myself and make it read only and hidden. Can anyone help?
Sounds like you have an addon re-enabling it.
I ended up recreating the entire chat setup, and it didnt take long. The system messages no longer pop up in the wrong window.
