After completely trampling the night elves into the ground, especially after I have heard the rumors of what happens to Tyrande in SL, they need a new race to aid them restore them to “night” elves not “ima go hang out in the emerald dream while my people suffer” elves. It makes total sense that they would join, and it’s not cliche at all because they add a new perspective on death and life. If they are all about restoring nature, then I honestly cannot picture them living in a red and black city covered in spikes. Some of the things the Horde does just doesn’t agree with that nature, and it’s not that they all don’t respect life, it is just how they do things and I don’t think the Sylvar want that. Plus, people don’t want the Horde to turn into a faction of pretty things, and the Sylvar fit into that catagory.
Ok so those are some reasons but honestly I just really really really really want Sylvar they look better then they female draenei the resemble.
The Sylvar would probably go Neutral if anything. I don’t see why they’d pick a faction because “pretty things.”
Also, in case someone wants to argue Blizzard is against Neutral races, that is simply not true. The dev who said they were no longer works at Blizzard.
