It boggles my mind that she still has supporters and it bothers me even more to think that Blizzard writers don’t seem to think what they have MADE her do isn’t all that bad.
Let’s see here-
Caused the deaths of incalculable numbers of warriors by single handedly starting a war.
Had the express purpose of killing as many people as possible on both sides to feed “death”
Committed GENOCIDE against the Night Elves and killed thousands of INNNOCENTS, including children.
Betrayed all living by allying with death and shattering the veil between the worlds
Caused torment and torture to untold numbers of souls who went to the maw instead of where they should of gone directly because of her. All those souls that are being tortured in the maw that we save? Yeah, Sylvanus caused that.
Sylvanus destroyed the helmet of domination making it impossible to fully control the scourge.
Sylvanus betrayed and turned Anduin undead to serve her master. She also is directly responsible for wounding Kyrestia the Firstborne.
There is a lot more but you get the idea.
Yet still, Blizz thinks she is “cool” so no matter what she will come out on top. Even Tyrande- High Priestess of Elune, 13,000 years old and empowered as the Night Warrior could not defeat her…because plot armor.
It really just makes me sick that the writing can be this bad intentionally.
Sylvanus is cancer, and it seems that no one realized how mean and toxic the lore has gradually ruined, which seems to be better that it had stayed in undercity and nothing more.
I really believe that the true writers and screenwriter (not the news) had the intention of just leaving it there, and releasing it would be the worst mistake that over time would gradually kill the lore and gameplay of the game itself.
Blizzard seems to be suffering from the whole “A Million is a Statistic” thing.
Countless souls have suffered and been destroyed because of Sylvanas but since they weren’t main characters they aren’t important and we are expected to just forget about them.
