shes got the look of hunger in her face. she wants to kiss anduin so badly but hes being dominated right now.
Generally when Blizzard wants to “redeem” someone, it predictably involves beating the bad out of them.
If so, I’m okay w this. I am tired of killing off iconic characters.

The writers here do love a redemption story.
ive no clue how people still never realised its always been for greater good. Even when blizz gave a huger slap in the face when THE VOID WAS TELLNIG SYLVANAS SISTER TO KILL HER. ya old gods/void wanted her dead cuz they are soooo the good guys.
This. Our Dark Lady has long held an affection for her little lion. To see him essentially be possessed into a drone must be unsettling. Regardless our Dark Lady will free the helpless little lad. And their union will be the knot to end these petty factional squabbles.

Why is a character not allowed to show conflict?
Garrosh went on a tangent at the very end and also showed conflict and frustration with his actions and position before he was finally killed off. Kil’jaedan questioned Sargeras prior to his death and then went full blown regret when he was defeated. Sylvanas has made facial expressions, no doubt she’s conflicted, won’t stop us from turning her into a loot pinata at the end of the day. Down with the Banshee Queen! 
The conflicts a bit dumb when she had no such reaction to way worse things than what happened to Anduin

Writers have to be consistent if they wanna pull this kind of thing. You could have sprinkled some hints with her past acts but they didn’t.
Off the top of my head this reminds me of when I played DnD. My character had issues related to orcs. Early on in games if there were half orcs or orcs I would say my character would be keeping a smaller distance than usual from the others. So when later more drastic things happened related to orcs it wasn’t that jarring.
It wasn’t just a sudden “Oh btw my character is mega uncomfortable around orcs” halfway through a campaign unprovoked. That’s rude to the other players to do that out of nowhere.
Sylvanas did Azeroth a favor when she burned that ugly, hideous elven weed.
