I have 2 new undead characters up to the quest ‘Belmont’s Report’.
I see the question mark on the map, but the NPC is not there.
On the second character I got to that quest, I saw her vanish after, the voiced encounter with the Orcs. As soon as I turned in the quest she disappeared.
Now she’s not there to turn in Belmont’s Report to continue to the story.
This happened on 2 different characters…Thrall Server
This has also happened to me on the Thunderhorn server, she disappeared after I collected the quest “Belmont’s Report”
Going on 3 days since this NPC vanished. Is this one of those things that can only be fixed after they reset the server? When do they do that regularly?
Normally every Tuesday, so if it gets fixed during maintenance that’ll be when.
Same has happened to me. Grizzly Hills server.
Same for me on Thrall server. My Mag’har alt can’t progress any further in Silverpine Forest.
On every quest excepting the very first one involving Garrosh, I also am not seeing Sylvanas. To make matters worse, there were two level 25 toons that also could not see Sylvanas. Sylvanas is involved in the Silverpine Questline quite a bit so I am hoping this gets the attention it deserves.
I spoke with two different GMs about this last evening and both indicated that it was a known issue to the Devs but could not tell how high a priority it was for a fix. They encouraged me to continue submitting bug reports to raise the visibility.
I also spoke with GM last night and phasing was cited as the issue. I submitted a bug report but have no idea how it will be tracked.
I’m hoping the server reset will fix this. Please post here if it does, or doesn’t. I will be working until 5pm today.
I took a look and she’s there now for me. Didn’t try triggering the quest though.
