I never understood this obsession with people being punished for eternity, lol, like, are you gonna sit and watch them suffer? For eternity? Really?
Also, I donât think the concept of eternity is really grasped by a lot of people. âYou did a bad thing, now SUFFER, forEVER. Because itâll make ME PERSONALLY feel better. >={ Yâknow, until I forget about it. In like, half an eternity.â Like, thatâs soooo petty. SO petty, yâall. Wouldnât it be enough to just stop her? Shouldnât that be enough?
Revenge is not justice. THEREâS A WHOLE QUEST ABOUT IT, GUYS. Uther throws Arthas into the maw because he DEEMS IT necessary. Itâs what HE decides. And that is shown in-game to be UNEQUIVOCALLY a bad decision. EVERYONE deserves a chance to atone. YES, even her⌠I hate what sheâs done, LITERALLY ALL I WANT FOR THIS XPAC IS ANDUIN BACK, but she ABSOLUTELY does not deserve an eternity in the maw⌠no one does. Thatâs the ENTIRE POINT of this xpac.

Remember in the goblin starting zones, Gallywix tries to kill all of his people, you and Thrall, yet he somehow still stays as leader of his people.
Thatâs when I realized this gameâs story is written by drug addicts.

She deserves either death or some sort of punishment.j ust letting her off makes no sense.
Shes responsible for the slaughter of millions. And the jailer at this point destroying reality. So her punishment needs to be extreme.
I think it would be ironic for her to be milked like gary was. And i do not agree vengence is justice.
The worst criminals should die as thier victims did or worse.

Same but I want it written well of course
Yea i wanted to drowned gally and thrall for that.

I wouldnât want her back as a forsaken. Sheâs all over the place and has done nothing but lead her people nowhere unfortunately. I havenât liked her since she started raising more undead. I would have found that hugely offensive as they all suffer a great deal as undead because of Arthas. How could they ever had been okay with letting her do that in the first place.
Her whole situation confuses me. Lol she kills the families of the undead she was reuniting them with yet has the heart to let her own sisters live tho. She raises army of undead without a care and waves off Garrosh when he tells her that what sheâs doing is on par with what Arthas had done yet when Anduin says it she is caught off guard like this has never occurred to her.
I like slyvanas as a character but as the cunning character, always two steps ahead of her enemies. The one that would never let somebody like Arthas or Zovaal control her.
But she so dumb all of a sudden. âOh Iâll never serve⌠now after 10 years of serving you and making Anduin serve you and also I see you making everybody else serving you all the time, chaining them up and torturing them and now we standing in a place called Sanctum of Domination⌠how could you do this to me I never saw this coming!â
Exactly the writing makes no sense. Wanna point out that in before the storm the famillies being able to meet only happened thanks to anduin, calia, peaceful forsaken, and the priest leader.
It was slyvie that went bonkers and killed her own people. She or her goons fired all three first shots to start bfa.
And well sylvie was being gary all over the horde did nothing. The excuses sylvie gave where lies. And she just feeding the maw.
I said bfa would fail. I said sylvie sas gary 2.0. I said a bigger evil would rise andcwe would hsve to unite like usual. Most of what i guessed came true.
Trolls can shout âfor Zulâjinâ when they use their ./cheer, so those voice lines arenât exactly the most reliable source of canon.
While there are some shortcomings in the theory (as has been pointed out), at the moment, the writing has been such that I canât blame you for making such a supposition.
Took away her agency and gave her a loophole to avoid responsibility for her actions.
Canât have one of their most popular characters be a genocidal maniac.
What happened in BFA was a direct consequence of making her warchief in Legion.
It was bound to happen eventually.
However, I think they realized, after the fact, that maybe that was a bad idea.
They feel like they wrote themselves into a corner and need an out, when really, they just need to let the character be irredeemable and be killed. Like Arthas. Like the Legion.
Not everyone needs a redemption story. (AlthoughâŚarguably, based on the current ending, how much of this is âredemptionâ rather than just avoiding the topic / responsibility altogether â âOhâŚshe was a different person due to soul shatteringâŚâ (the mental illness defense) â is an open topic).
She will probably die doing a self sacrifice bit, therefore removing any and all arguments for âwhat her punishment should be.â She will be gone. And if not gone, then imprisoned until her death. WHICH SHOULD BE ENOUGH.
Execution I feel is still too extreme, and wonât happen because loyalists would have an absolute FIT about it. But eternal damnation is not something anyone deserves. Again, Iâm feeling like the meaning of the word eternal is lost on ppl.

Eh, I suppose it could work if Calia and her were to find some common ground. Calia probably would be kind enough to forgive her for erm⌠killing her, whereas Sylvanas could get her insight on how to move on and exist with all sheâs done. Now that sheâs got her soul back, itâs possible.
Now whether the Forsaken actually would welcome her back in a plausible wayâŚ
We didnât forgive or forget! We got our pay back when, something something undercity, something something dark shore or night warrior or whateverâŚ
please donât belittle our great victory, I mean we did use up one of her Valkyr⌠those are still important to her, right?
lol there was a leak that proves youâre wrong and i think this leak is accurate
Sylvanas >>>Lillian anyday
Neither Horde nor Alliance would welcome her. As long as factions exist, sheâll be an outcast.
Lilian is loyal, Sylvanas isnât. And Calia wants best for Forsaken, thatâs why Calia and Lilian get to be forsaken leaders now, and Sylvanas is hated.
i dont want her, give her to the alliance instead make them suffer a bit of bad story telling.
Nah she will end up the jailer because the shadowlands must always have a jailer or some crap.
Blizzard ruined her , RIP another great WoW char.
Well thatâs just like your opinion. As far as forsaken are concerned, she tried to help them, died, got ressurected by the Naaru, and now helps lead them.
Compared to Sylvanas who used them and ordered them around.
Gee I wonder who theyâd pick, a crazy Tyrant or a benevolent leader (who was also part of their royal family).

No she doesnât. The horde and alliance both have murder on their hands. There is no innocence on either side. Besides that, Sylvanas is too popular a character to just kill her off which is why (among many other reasons) I keep calling people who keep saying kill her off irrational. You really think theyâre going to just kill off their most popular WoW character? I donât think so.
