Following the MoP theory, remember that before this we had Cataclysm where the "friction" with Garrosh and the other leaders of the Horde began, and it was then in MoP that I ended up being a villain.
So, BFA would be "Cataclysm" where all the leaders of the horde have their differences with Sylvanas, but they follow it out of necessity. But it will eventually be in a future 9.3.5 where it will come to an end and we will have perhaps not a siege on Orgrimmar, but a siege on Lordaeron.
In this way the developers fulfilled their word that in this expansion Sylvanas does not die, but in the second.

Wishful thinking. I would be inclined to agree if we hadn't long passed the point of no return. Saurfang at this point is Vol'jin setting up the new "Darkspear rebellion". Give it another patch or two.
8.2 seems more likely, to me. 8.3 is Azshara, so 8.2 might be the killing of Sylvanas patch.
Who cares. It just same stuff. This game needs ID man. So far the story is boring. The out look is lame. The whole concept has been done to death. It only one expansion left before they run out things to write about. Sense they not a whole lot left on one side to write about. Next expansion be Baine he get killed off, Elf guy might actually leave horde and that leaves us with goblin selling horde of to slavery. That pretty mush how wow will end.
The thing is and one I found out like three expansion ago. They do not add continuous character to build on. They have pretty much left out key thing in writing. adding new ones to replace ones killed off.
Can’t think of a more stupid ending than having Sylvanas die.

We have literally already had the story of a warchief going crazy, a rebellion planned, and then the warchief gets killed off.

Sorry that what doing now. It just dumb and getting to point is why bother to log in. Making the game easy mode and add a rehash of previous story. Cant even log in any more. With how things are going. The whole team needs to replaced and put somewhere else.
I see them pulling a switcheroo and having her dying to stop Azshara and whoever the evil fish was. It will be revealed that all her actions were necessary to stop Azshara, everyone will collectively say “ahhhhh” and follow her to kill Azshara and the evil fish.
She will be forgiven and immortalized as the ultra hero.
Btw, that old god should totally be a little fish that flops around in the raid.
