change my mind.
She HATED the Lich King and would have given ANYTHING to see him dead. It makes sense that she ordered the plague bombs.

I stubbed my toe the other day. But Sylvanas is evil, so it mustâve been her fault.
Cant be her fault, you are still alive. And you are Alliance - she really would have killed youâŚ
I lolâd. More then i thought i would have.
Sylvanas kicked my dog. For 12 years I thought it was the daughter of some guy that lived down the street but Blizzard recently told me it was actually the Dark Lady.
Sylvanas is best Warchief.
the actual issue is that some people donât understand the term âretconâ. If information comes to light that changes the complexion of an historical event it is not a âretconâ. It happens continuously in real life, why not in works of fiction as well.
Sylvanas was always a jerk, when I was playing Warcraft 3 she greatly inconvenienced me with her shenanigans. And then she kept her arrogant attitude even after Arthas did a number on her as well. They call her the dark lady because of her temperament not for what she is
Obviously mind control
The ministry of truth, concerns itself with lies.
./sigh Ordering the Plague bombing, then pinning the blame on the Dreadlord is exactly something Sylvanas would do.
Remember, Varimathras, Balnazzar, and Tichondrius originally grouped up with Sylvanas because they thought she would be a good tool. Later she betrayed them and kept Varimathras around as a servant.
Reading between the lines, especially with info we learned in Legion about the Nathrezim, they were probably constantly at subtle odds of who would betray who first and in the most damaging way.
Most people who were learned about Nathrezim and their ways would not be surprised to hear of a plot to discredit a major Horde leader, kill their enemies and attempt to seize power for themselves. That Sylvanas was able to engineer a plot to take advantage of that perceived behavior, convince everyone she was betrayed, and sweep the creation of the new Plague as the machinations of a rogue Dreadlord, and weâre not really making this stuff in job lots, just keeping it away from where it can do any more harm is actually a master-stroke.
Points to Sylvanas.
I still want her to burn in holy fire, but this doesnât detract from her character in any way, and actually adds to her deviousness.
âSylvanas was responsible for Wrathgateâ = Makes no Sense.
I had always assumed she ordered the wrathgate attack. It was either that or assume she was a blind incompetent fool. She is none of those things of corse. I had always assumed that when things didnât go according to plan and both sides came for undercity that she wisely played her plausible deniability card. Um, the dread lord did it dudeâŚ
Glad a dev finally (after what 10 years?) came out and said it. Sorry the peeps who thought she didnât have anything to do with were hoodwinked by her, but hey that was the plan.
Edit: Just watched the cinematic again. She probably even the alchemist what to say. Now is the hour of the forsaken. Ya, a play at world domination, almost worked.
Completely off topic but this video is the perfect reason why we should have Magâhar DKs. So many died at Wrathgate. They just need a worgen-type background story⌠theyâre not from AU Draenor; theyâre from here.
well heck, i knew this when i saw wrath gate. i wouldnât put it above sylvanas to manipulate goblins into selling machinery to the alliance to kill off the orcs!
