As for Denuser… yup that was 100% gaslighting and he did take advantage of people having hope for a decent story.

You cannot defend a story interpretation by saying the writers lied about the story to some or all of the audience.
Once you operate on the premise of the writers lying about their own work, there is no foundation in the work for a conclusion; it’s all a whim away from something else, and meaningless.

The PTR for 8.2.5 was put up on August 1st of 2019, nearly a year after Afrasiabi said that.

That’s not a snap decision during a PTR.

Travis: Because Sylvanas is not evil. In the story for her, it’s much more. She’s definitely aggressive, and she definitely believes in having power and control, but I also think that she does take seriously the representation of the Horde. She has a different perspective which is that the Horde will never be safe until the Alliance is wiped out. But, is she acting in a cruel, mustache-twirling evil way? Not really, she’s just trying to defend her people.
