Is it actually possible for Blizzard to write a redemption story for her that will land well? We all know they didn’t keep her alive to remain the villain forever.
I keep thinking of that saying “You either die a hero, or live long enough to become a villain”
Can they bring her story full circle back to hero? Or at least put her in a position where everyone doesn’t wish death on her?
How would they do it? What would be enough to convince people sparing her was a good choice?
I don’t think she needs a redemption or to be forgiven by the whole world. Just give her a happy moment where she gets to reunite with her sisters and find some peace and love.
While not a redemption to other characters, her former personality might return in Midnight with another corruption of the Sunwell. 
She’ll never be a hero except to her loyalists that consider her god. She’s undead, she only deserves death.
Too many Strikes. She’s proven herself to be untrustworthy to an extreme.
Time for her to become redead. She’s making the rest of us, undead, look bad. We are already a fright to look at for the unexpecting. We don’t need to look worse in any capacity.
In the cinematic, Tyrande said there would be no peace for Sylvanas until the souls she condemned were brought forth from the maw to be rejudged. When she looked at her sisters before jumping in, Vereesa seemed compassionate whereas Alleria had a stern look. We will see an assault by the void and Alleria could become a significant villain. It could be that Sylvanas figures into her defeat and the defeat of the void after having completed her task in the maw.
That having been said, none of my nelf characters will ever forgive her, but they have resigned themselves that their idea of justice will never be served.
The only way to redeem her is to completely reverse time back before they ruined Sylvanas before she burnt down that damn tree.
Not sure how that’s gonna happen now that she has a soul.

It’s fine as long as they avoid scheming Sylvanas and go for an avenging but caring Sylvanas which should be possible with the new Voidwell and having her family close. At least that’s me trusting what we already have would make happen. 
Sylvanas appears in Midnight with an army from the Maw fighting with us against the big bad. I really don’t want Blizz to do to her what they did to Thrall - turned him from a Warchief to a bunch of nothing.

Depends on how big of a threat Dar’khan could be that we would need the help from shadowlands.
Let her find Nathanos and they become the king and queen of the Maw/Torghast level of Hell. If anyone has the capacity to rein in/imprison the souls of the unredeemable baddest of bads, it’s those two. Maybe she comes back as the Banshee to foreshadow huge swaths of death, or be spooky about culling a big bad, sitting in the shadows waiting for fate to play out.
No, they turned arthas into an insignificant ball who got mocked by Sylvanas when she did the EXACT same thing.
No she cannot be redeemed ever.

Oh, I know just what to do with Sylvanas, we get a quest to return the shadowlands, (Horrible I know) But we get to take what remains of her Anima and feed it to our covenant Reservoir.
Sylvie is a bankable character. Blizz is not getting rid of her. All the nerds who see her as a waifu would rage quit.
