Sylvanas is more truly evil than Garrosh was by miles. She lied about her intentions of deploying the plague over Gilneas, even Garrosh is taken aback by her resurrecting dead Horde to be new forsaken.
Garrosh on the other hand, had a crumbling Horde dropped in his lap, he felt abandoned by Thrall even. Eventual influence of Old God.
So, yeah Sylvanas is not “Garrosh 2.0”
Not a change my mind challenge or anything of that sort, just some thoughts. Agree or disagree, discussion of the game is fun!

You are correct.
Garrosh stood by his Horde.
Sylvanas said the Horde is nothing.

All she cared about was carrying on the forsaken. She cared nothing for the Horde.
I mean, the story is pretty similar. Especially towards the end if you consider it this way - both characters ended up having to flee at the end of the xpac into a new zone. Both the alliance and horde came together against both individuals. Also, I’m pretty sure Garrosh only wanted a horde with just orcs. He didn’t care for the tauren, undead etc. (At least I’m pretty sure he was like that). There are just a lot of similarities in both stories that it feels like garrosh 2.0

Let’s not pretend that both characters weren’t just railroaded into being villains by the writers.
Time to let the Alliance offer up some of their racial and faction leaders to the alter of villainy if you ask me.

If the Alliance has to give up leaders, we have to give up zones and non-major cities.
People call her Garrosh 2.0 because of “a Horde warchief that goes crazy that we have to kill in the next expansion”.
All we need is for Thrall to be about to deliver the killing blow only for the ghost of Varian to come in with “Her fate is not for you alone to decide”.

Didn’t know Garrosh fled…thought we had him at the end of SoO
Well we took him down but he was arrested and then later escaped so we had to deal with him in WoD. Well more like Thrall dealt with him.

Ahh ok, I never really keep track of the story, I just remember the scene where the horde takes him at the end of MoP…and then I think in WoDs Nagrand Thrall plays his shaman hand and kills him or something like that
Garrosh’s journey ended the same way it began—with him being a crybaby in Nagrand.

It only just occurred to me, perhaps I should see it the locations match up.
Yeah thats pretty much what happened. Thrall fights Garrosh in a mak’gora and wins basically.
Sylvanas has horde simps defending her.
Nobody defended Garrosh.
“I won’t let you take her >:(” says thrall
"We’ve all suffered from her atrrocities , my people more than any other , let’s judge her in Elwyn forest " says malfurion
There’s an hour long video on youtube called “garrosh did nothing wrong”

I imagine that, regardless of where he is, that it’s still Taran Zhu that appears out of no where to give that last line.
