We all thought she was mocking him when she calls him “little lion”, but the thing is:
Sylvanas never loved anyone or anything as much as she loved her sisters. And her younger sister’s official family nickname was “little moon”.
So these “little XYZ” nicknames are terms of endearment.
I think Sylvanas has a soft spot for Andy and I think that is because he reminds her of her own little brother Lirath Windrunner.
Well I never thought I would say this but it actually makes sense even after what Sylvanas has done.
It’s shown in the comic that she still has a sort of attachment to her family.

I wonder if she’ll end up being redeemed by giving her life to save / release Anduin from the Jailer somehow after she realizes what she’s done and how she’s just as bad as Arthas and that she essentially imprisoned him / stole his life from him as Arthas did to her. I guess it would make sense.
Her shacking up with nathanos led to him being among high elf rangers

She might really have a big-sister complex… it actually fits.
It would be interesting to see this explored upon.
IDK if the writers even know her backstory this in-depth though.
Not trolling, I just really don’t expect them to even remember this poor guy or use him in a meaningful way.
I can see that. This would also explain why Lirath is oddly non-existent in really any literature/ in-game content involving Sylvanas. Probably to help create distance for a reveal or acknowledgment later on.
She still needs a decent beard on her. Oh and the kid to…hic!
now that I’m thinking about it…
…she WAS totally OK with murdering both of her nephews… so now IDK.
But wasn’t that because she also thinks them being undead would allow them to “be together?”
Sylvanas wanted to murder all her family.
But that’s because she loves them and she wants them to be with her as a Forsaken Family.
God only knows at this point. Her story has been written and rewritten so many times, Star Wars is looking at another three main series movies to keep up.
My take away was that she wanted her sister with her… but was afraid the nephews would get in the way.
Don’t have a copy of warcrimes here at work so I can’t check though.
The Windrunner sisters have a sickness for that Human Potential. She lost her last boy toy and needs a new one.
