I really like the character of Sylvanas in the lore before the writers started taking a nose dive with her. People need to understand that a character can still be awesome while at the same time having writers give them horrible storylines just look at comic books characters or TV shows for reference. Don’t blame the character but instead blame the writers for doing her a huge injustice. Hopefully she can come back at some point with better writing and people can slowly forget about shadowlands/BfA or even dismiss them entirely.

Not much way to really “fix” Sylvanas short of saying evil Sylvanas knew full well what she was doing and purposefully lied about being tricked by Zovaal, really the only way to fix that blunder. As for the rest of BFA and Shadowlands, well that’s actually a simpler fix… reveal via Shadowlands 2: Electric bugalooo that Zovaal was a hack and the fall guy for Denthrius to further his plans of conquering the Shadowlands and realms beyond it.
Considering how we’re introduced to Denathrius I could absolutely see HIM coming up with a 5 head plan like that… just not Zovaal.
I feel like if enough players support this they should totally do it. Even putting Sylvanas aside, so many things in shadowlands made no sense. Also leave a portal so players can go back but it would state that it was a portal into a nightmare
I’ve said it before, I wish there was a soul counter in the maw. Make it 1 billion or whatever, and players who chose to be Sylvanas loyalists in the BFA campaign could assist with freeing souls until the counter runs out and her punishment is served.
Ive never liked the character even in older content.
If the writers wanted an annoying character that grates on the nerves, mission accomplished. Shes perfect

Addendum: I’m sure someone will point out that neither Vereesa, nor Alleria, are technically Sin’dorei. It’s probably more accurate to group them as ‘high elves of Quel’Thalas’.
Sylvanas was always a whining, paranoid tyrant without a thought or care for anyone greater than her, a sociopath with just enough skill at hiding it to sucker people like the OP into believing that she cares.
And then she died, and things really went off the rails.

I’m still not over the complete over-saturation and incompetence of that character that saddled us with the stupid council.
Yes, I blame the writers, but also they haven’t changed so things are still the same.
Blizz would have to reverse the damage caused to Sylvanas, to the Horde and delete Calia Menethil from the game.
Then I’ll be happy. Sylvanas should have stayed in Undercity as a character that worked slyly and secretly. And never the Warchief.
