I keep seeing two claims on here. One is that “BfA has ruined Sylvanas’s character by making her evil,” and the other is that “Sylvanas isn’t evil, she is just uber smart and doing all this to save Azeroth and all of us in the end” (paraphrased). Neither of these stances are correct. Sylvanas has been evil for the entirety of WoW, and she doesn’t care about you, the Forsaken, or Azeroth. She never did. She has only ever cared about herself.
Sylvanas has been evil for a lot longer than just BfA. She has been evil since she first was raised into undeath. Before her death in Wrath, she considered the Forsaken to be simply “arrows in her quiver,” tools to be used and tossed aside when they were no longer useful. She only cared about killing Arthas, and anything else was only a means to that end.
After the Valkyr brought her back from death, her motivation became making sure she never died again. The Forsaken changed from being arrows in her quiver to being a “bulwark against the infinite,” to be used wisely, because they were the only thing standing between herself and the abyss. She didn’t care about the Forsaken themselves, only about their ability to stand between her and death.
She never cared about the Forsaken, and she never cared about the Horde. She has only ever cared about herself, ever since Arthas brought her back as a banshee in Warcraft III.

She also kills members of the Horde, and even her own Forsaken. If you don’t recognize that Sylvanas is evil, then you must have a very twisted idea of right and wrong. Murdering countless innocents for your own personal gain is EVIL, plain and simple.

The Dark Lady personally saved my unlife not once but twice, and endured extreme pain to aid Horde forces in Darkshore. This is the meaning of loyalty (a word neither the Alliance or so-called Horde seem to understand.)

Well thats always been obvious even back in the day. It said the Horde was just a convenience when I first made my Undead back in 2006.
I still find her an amazing, great, but flawed character. She has a tragic backstory. I still stand by her cause amazing characters don’t have to be lawful or good 
And maybe some of us want to be evil and take over the world, okay? lol
