Where?
And if this is some push for Belves to be Druids, they still can be. Even with forest manipulation. They do herbalism pretty fine with it. Ignoring their history of power manipulation and claiming every source is false is not effective.

They condemned Sylvannas to do what they made us pay $15 a month to do.
I mean, even the “they manipulated things in a third for power” thing rings hollow when Quel’thalas is geographically entirely confined to a single forest even when it had a chance to expand. Magic didn’t exactly translated into a grand empire for the high elves, just a small patch of forest they cared for for millenia.
The troll wars didn’t end up with an even split of the land conquered over the Amani, they ended with the humans taking over about 80% of the Amani empire AND with a shiny new magic school city
I felt Tyrande should have shot her in the back to knock her into the maw.
They weren’t trying for a grand empire, so how would any of that mean they didn’t manipulate their forest? They just wanted things to look pretty. Nothing you said counters that.
I’m just glad Sylvanas is finally gone, until they pull an Illidan on her in about 8 years or so.
It isn’t a fitting end for her. It’s only putting a place holder on her until they want to bring her back in the spotlight and shove her in our faces all over again later with another story line which, I have emphatically zero doubt, they absolutely will do.
An actually fitting end would have been for Tyrande to behead her on the spot and have whatever powers that be there destroy her soul eternally. Full force perma death with no possibility of return in any shape or form, ever, is the only fitting end for her.
Eh. It wasn’t bad but I was expecting a “this is Sparta!” moment while she was standing in front of the abyss.
Oh absolutely, they’ll never get rid of her. She’s a popular character. This is all because they wrote her into a corner, and couldn’t let her go without punishment and make Arthas puff away into the wind like a fart as punishment.
I dunno. The Maw is huge and it would take her a lifetime to find all those souls. Plus, she has to do it on foot because like I said:
She will be back next expansion. Too much of the story has been about her for her not to show up in the grande finale
I wonder what she will do next?
In an expansion or 2, She will be done sorting the souls and will come back as the new Illidan… I mean hero.
Exactly. It will happen in one of two ways,
Or
As if a hunter wouldn’t talent Posthaste to make the Maw more tolerable
Well, she’s not a Hunter. She’s a Dark Ranger.
Hm, I wonder what class farstriders, dark rangers and sentinels are consistently depicted as since Vanilla
Must be warlock obviously
Only the evil ones.
Besides, what does Posthaste have to do with being faster in the Maw?
Dark Rangers are undead, leather-wearing, Rogue-DK hybrids so I don’t know what you’re talking about.
It takes more than holding a bow to be a Hunter.
Disengage → Posthaste kicks in → You run faster
I relied more on Trailblazer.
