Hi Chases :wave:t4:

I haven’t yet, didn’t want to drop the money on a hardcover. Might pick up the ebook at some point.

You know who you look like you look like that one person that was a racist and posting sickening thread on here.

That’s right that’s how it feels like when accusing someone when you have zero clue of who you are accusing.

For those interested, I just happened to see this book on sale on Amazon, both hard cover and paperback.

Reviews I read before were not the best, but I like the author and worth a shot for the discounted price.

I forget what exactly the negative reviews said. Something about it being half her childhood and half nonsense filler? Let’s find out!

Well, that escalated for no apparent reason

He’s unreasonably upset by the fact that his attempt to hide from his terrible reputation by… posting exactly the same content on an identical character with a new name… didn’t work out particularly well.

I enjoyed it, the first half especially.

The second half of the book though, I got whiplash from how fast it went through events.

First half was her background, second half skims the history of her from banshee into current times. That much content is squished into half a book. It doesn’t even go over Arthas’ invasion or her death. Just goes straight into banshee mode.

Edit to add: It almost seems as if Christie Golden was on her own for the first half and then was told to wrap it up quickly for the end.

Last book of hers I read was The Shattering.

Don’t plan to read any more, either.

I have the hard copy and also the audiobook version, but I have yet to finish it. I think I’m around halfway through it. Its been good, at least up until this point.

I’ve read it many times, I think I’ve read it close to a dozen times now. I love reading the first half of the novel but I feel like the second half was rushed and more could’ve been done for the second half. I have both the hardcover and audiobook but I’ll be going back to pick up the paperback as I need another copy to display for when I get my Sylvanas statue. :crystal_ball::bat::purple_heart:

I decided to read it since I had a long flight and the first 2/3 was pretty good. I wouldn’t really recommend you to go out of your way to get it or read it. It’s not amazing, but it’s alright if you’re in the mood for warcraft lore

It was a good read. I enjoyed it.

Update! Finished the first part; childhood and world building. Plenty of references to in game characters, locations and general world, so I’m really getting that connection. Overall I’m enjoying it so far! Like the rest of her books, it’s easy to pick up and read here and there.

I’m not a big lore nerd, but I enjoyed it. It even came very close to making me not despise Nathanos, so it was doing something right.

I’ve got it, just haven’t sat down to read yet.

No kidding.

This, ladies and gentlemen, is why we need Btags. Because people like this think they can hop on another alt and say things like that as well continue their shenanigans and etc, while evading ignores. (the latter being classified as Harrassment by Blizzard, mind you Chases)

I read a few of the books and lost interest. None of the writers were that great. Get me some Dan Abnett and maybe I’ll give it another shot.
