For a few reasons. The first off being, she has been actively fighting for years, while bolvar has basically been working a desk job controlling the Scourge.
We also have no frame of reference for how powerful Bolvar was as the Lich King. We know he was a fairly capable Paladin as a human, and inherited unholy and frost magics akin to a Death Knight, but it is safe to assume that he is NOT as powerful as Arthas, who was pretty strong as a Paladin, and he had Frostmourne which is where his power was greatly amplified.
Sylvanas also did not overpower Bolvar, he was making her jump around pretty good, so she knew she couldn’t afford to take a hit. She set a trap from the beginning and locked him down so she could grab the helmet.
All in all, I think it was a pretty believable fight.

Not even sure why you bothered with that as a comment, but do you have any actual counterargument? We only saw Bolvar fight once, at the Wrathgate, where he killed a bunch of fodder enemies and that was it.
The title of Lich King doesn’t automatically make him a powerhouse.

No, it came from Frostmourne, which was destroyed. I mentioned that specifically.

I saw that. I just feel like, the way things are right now, it seems like the Helm of Domination was a completely worthless artifact. It should have been at least as powerful as Frostmourne.

The Helm allowed the wielder to control the Scourge, outside of that it was never referenced as bestowing or enhancing any kind of power / ability.

She didn’t just beat Bolvar, all of you missing the crucial information in the cinematic. Bolvar turning blue is specifically done to show you that Bolvar let give control to Ner’zhul or the Lich King to battle Sylvanas.
Sylvanas beaten Ner’zhul who has immense experience and power beyond anyone can actually comprehend since He is one of the few being that cannot be destroyed completely.
This also makes her victory much more comical and show the writers hard-on for her.

Ok. So where was the army of the dead? Sylvanas was actually able to fight her way solo to Icecrown and take on Bolvar? That still doesn’t sound believable.

That doesn’t mean anything. Him turning blue was a just a cool factor “gearing up for battle” animation, that and he immediately began using Frost magic. For all we know, that is all it could indicate. Also, Ner’zhul was the weakest Lich King, I would be willing to bet. He is a presence like Sauron in LotR. Powerful in theory and influence, but can’t really fight or defend himself.

Frostmourne? Was a pretty big deal to his power.
Plus, the OG Lich King (Ner’zhul) needed Arthas to BAIL HIM OUT from Illidan.
Do people not pay attention to the story or something? Have people not played WC3? Do people not read quest text or pay attention to what characters say?

Exactly, she cheated. She is strong, but she is a sneaky, smart ranger who specializes in magic and being fast. Like I have been trying to say, she CCed him and took the helmet, she didn’t beat him in a straight up pissing contest.
