Am I the only one who interpreted the end of the cinematic as the jailer REMOVING her powers that he gave her, therefore making her weaker/able to be killed by the faction leaders?
I’m not saying she won’t be redeemed, that’s up in the air. But the way I read that was “I’ll let them deal with you, since they hate you so much. I’m taking your powers away so good luck”

He seemingly took away her powers, but now when we finally have the chance to bring her to justice we’ll forgive her for no reason instead.
Even Tyrande does in a later chapter, and we already know that they’re bringing Sylvanas to Oribos instead of bringing her to justice.

I can definitely (unfortunately) see that. But idk, that’s a lot to forgive.
I was just confused by so many people interpreting it as “he restored her soul” or something along those lines
He did both.
Yea, but everyone already conveniently forgot about her atrocities.
It won’t be for no reason. It’ll be because she’ll be pivotal in defeating the Jailer.
He said since she helped restore him, he would return the favor. Took out a crystal obviously containing her soul, broke it open and put it back in her.
I’m sure he ALSO took away the powers he gave her. But he definitely restored her soul.
Then use her for that and make her get her deserved punishment after. She’s the reason why the Jailer became a threat in the first place, she commited countless atrocities and sent innocents to the maw where they were obliterated to empower the jailer.
Basically the writers are telling us that they don’t care what we think and are just going to do whatever the hell they want.
Or at least whoever keeps sticking their foot into the narrative mess.

I’m thinking we might “need” Sylvanas as she has been empowered by Zovaal for the last Sigil.
Although I haven’t been keeping up with datamining so it’s possible that I’m completely wrong.
Nah, she’ll slip away during the climax to have further misadventures.
I’m kinda hoping they do the “I’m resigned to my fate because I was a big dumb, so I’ll just be sad and not really get up to more hijenks” but I doubt that’ll happen
“Guys what if… Hitler was sad.”
“Nah we did that with Saurfang, we need something new.”
“Ok, what if… we had to team up with Hitler, to beat BIG Hitler?”
“Danuser, you just earned yourself a raise.”

The exact effect of what the Jailer did is unclear. It definitely looks like he returned something to her, though.
Honestly, I don’t know why he didn’t destroy everyone right there if he had the power to do so. He really just played the straight up Villain Trope of leaving the Hero(es) alive to fight another day.
Wait, are you actually suggesting having characters in WoW that follow LOGIC?
Blasphemy!
