Sylvanas’ fate: NE’s justice denied?

I shouldn’t humor this, but I will.

I’m not going to sit here and tell you that the Horde didn’t lose things. I don’t make it a habit of minimizing issues that other playerbases have. Most of the people who have argued with me know that, and the people who operate in good faith remember that - and we can talk about why each of us are upset, acknowledge each others issues, and get down to talking about how to fix things.

I don’t count you among their number. You’re deploying this as a tactic, demonstrating that you don’t get why we’re upset, and that you don’t care because fundamentally - you only care about yourself. That attitude isn’t worth anyone’s time.

Oh, make no mistake Kyalin, he gets why we worgen and NE fans are upset, but as you said, he doesn’t care. And I doubt he ever will. He often goes out of his way to dismiss any complaints we come up with. :wolf:

This is a bad joke, but …
How was it there? The eight countries fell apart into a small seven and a huge one-sided one (G8 (?), RF removed).

A dark analogy is probably more appropriate. Where in the event of absolute genocide more people will die, in sixty-five countries or in one?

Reading comprehension.

More hard to swallow pills:
The Night Elf and Worgen playerbases are not more important than the Orcs or Forsaken. Our racial leader was killed and turned into a trinket.
If the Horde does not get justice, you should not have any, either.

This is not a Night Elf simulator.
This is a two faction game.

Justice against Sylvanas? They had their chance didn’t take it. Thats why BFA happened isn’t?

Uhhh explain to me how “I was just following orders” defense worked out for those that used it before?

Sylvanas has not been absolved nor forgiven…

That’s all cool but what about the Night Elves?

They let Garrosh to live in Orgri… and that lead to the Iron Horde invasion, and later to the Legion invasion.
Now they will let Sylvanas to live …

Wonder why they did not let Fendral to live?

After entire bfa was build arround them(The Horde), i would say, now is another one in turn, don´t you think?

Its no harm for the horde if the worgen and night elves get their turn. I mean, at this point…the horde was tricked by a manipulator who was manipulated…thats the entire story.

Nope, sylvanas is innocent and so is the horde according to blizz, saurfang is even a hero for what he did.

The Horde claimed Ashenvale and Teldrassil and kept both of them. They just decided to burn Teldrassil to wipe out the Night Elves.

Incorrect.

He’s also a trinket.

Teldrassil was never under Horde control.

Accurate.

:pancakes:

This appears to be precisely what’s happened.

Sylvanas as we’ve known her for the entirety of World of Warcraft is gone.

She won. She got away with everything she did, accomplished her and the Jailer’s plan, and left.

Not unexpected, but it’s finally manifested.

If Sylvanas getting her soul back makes her The Ranger-General version of herself again, then why did The Forsaken become macabre sludge-splasher versions of their living selves?

Imagine being a Worgen fan and still playing for the story where they don’t exist and the antagonist of their zone is fixing to become a superhero.

Imagine there being more to the game to play for than just the story like friends and enjoying RP scenarios with said friends……absolutely must blown your mind huh?

The story is strictly a non starter for me at this stage. :wolf:

Well I was more making a general point, if Worgen fans didn’t have it rough before then man… this was the straw that broke the camel’s back for me. The writers clearly made this expansion to get more of them and Night Elf fans to unsub because honestly I wouldn’t blame them if they did at this point.

I don’t know how much harder you could screw over two races with such awesome potential to be something cooler, it’s pretty tragic.

Oh, that’s a completely fair sentiment to have and one I wholeheartedly agree with. Truthfully? The latest cinematic did kill any interest I had left in the story. :wolf:

Right, while I understand there’s still RP and friends that’s a valid reason I just can’t reward Blizzard for consistently acting on bad faith anymore, I’m just waiting for my account to freeze on August unless anyone knows a way I can have it freeze faster and revoke whatever rewards I may have gotten. (Which I know, makes me terrible, I’m willing to do w/e it takes to undo all that though.)

Speaking of bad faith, don’t engage Horde players that honestly think the writers have some sort of Alliance fetish, considering the major characterization of two of the most prominent Alliance characters in the story have an Orc fetish.

I genuinely do love WoW. I’ll wait and see what the final shadowlands cinematic brings a year from now before doing anything. It’s just the dishonest devs that bother me. :wolf:

Sylvanas knowingly sent who knows how many night elven children, including the little girl the player helps in that one quest (in I think Ashenvale?) who wakes up asking her papa for soup to hell to be tortured forever. I’d say ‘justice denied’ is an understatement but I don’t think there’s a phrase in the english language that can convey how screwed the night elves have gotten these past 2 xpacs.
