Sylas from League of Legends

I’m bit confessed with Sylas in terms of his Abilities from League. Hes suppose to be a mage and yet he can punch and whip people with his chains and stuff. I wonder if he could ether be a Mage, Warlock, or a Monk Brawler?

I am not sure why you are confused.
League of Legends has nothing to do with World of Warcraft.

Many different fantastical media have different variations of wizards.

If you have watched anime before, there is one called ‘Fairy tail’ which will show you wizard that also focus heavily on punching their enemies, even knightly wizards.

You have wizards like Gandalf in Lord of the Rings, who will go into melee and fight with sword and staff.

There are probably many other media.

If you, on the other hand, ask how one would incorporate Sylas into the World of Warcraft game-class system - then probably still mage.

Remember that Anduin Wrynn is actually a priest, but he can wear armor and he can trash people with a sword. Gameplay limitiation have no bearing on actual lore.

Surely there is somewhere else you can ask this question? This isn’t the right place you’re looking for. League lore is not some copy of WoW’s you can compare it to.

He is a Mage that can Spellsteal and also use chains as weapons. So in universe probably a Mage, but in terms of actual gameplay he’s probably most similar to a Death Knight since they have Dark Simulacrum and are melee while also using spells.

from my understanding mages in the league universe are those born with innate magical abilities(adjust glasss axctually they are technically sorcerers) his abilities are of absorbing magic from other people or things, he just chose to fight with the chains because idk, symbolism I guess. So you know, kinda like how battlemages in WoW are still mages even though they use swords to fight.

Also, Demacian prisons seem to provide prisons with enough protein to get ripped bro wtf

Sorry, but this really bugs me. The words “Sorcerer,” “Wizard” and “Mage” all existed long before D&D. Gary Gygax’s definitions of those words have no particular value beyond that specific system.
