I’m lvl 35 currently, was waiting until level 40 ish to switch spec to elemental. Is it a bad idea to switch now at 35? I was waiting for 4/5 lightning mastery, I read somewhere that this was a good time, but not sure it really matters for 3 levels
Speaking from experience it really doesn’t make a huge difference aside from the gear which you can acquire by healing dungeons. Ele is the “fastest” leveling spec but it all comes down to personal preference.
I preferred to level as enhance but YMMV.
Just thought it’d be a fun swap. Always wanted to try out caster style
I’d suggest sticking to enhancement until you start gearing at 60 because it’s more mana efficient to kill mobs with and most low level leather/mail will be for physical stats. But if you prefer hurling lightning bolts and stopping to drink more often; it’ll work.

Then by all means go for it.Just keep in mind it is gear reliant and you need that spell power and a mana pool to back it up.
I’ve been saving gear while leveling for that actually. I just mean in dying a lot now that I’m this level. Can only take on like 1-2 mobs and then drink anyways
I switched around 35 and man was it a good change! Elemental is really fun, despite drinking a lot. Enhance is a lot of auto attacks and ele kills very fast but drinks a lot.
I think I’ll go ahead and switch over at 36 to get a feel for it. I could always change back in the future if it really isn’t working. once i hit 60 i’ll be shooting for that 31/0/20 spec.
