It feels wrong to me. Sacrilege. But after trying a Druid for the good portion of a month, I’m still loving it!
But I’ve put so much time into my Warrior that I feel like I’m abandoning him.
Anyone ever have these feels they can walk me through?

I switch mains every expansion and sometimes at different patches.

I’ve already switched mains this expansion to go Horde, I’m considering going back to Alliance for another switch. It does feel weird, it also hurts after you’ve put alot of work into a character.
Some people love to switch things up…if you know what I mean.

I mained a shammy for all of legion. I mained a warrior up till that point. Now I main a hunter. Its all about preference of play style.
Alright, we might as well tell him.
There are no “mains” and “alts”. Just different characters. Play whatever you want. 
That means you are point bro. I’m pretty sure he means this is a game, and none of it matters in the long run.

I swap between patches, sometimes. If I’ve healed all xpac, I might get tired of it and want to damage and vice versa. Just play whatever makes you happy.

Every few months, all progress is rendered irrelevant anyway, and you can probably get a new character to 430 in less than a week if you have decently geared friends.
Play what you enjoy, so long as it’s not a garbage fire like enhancement.

I ditched my DK that I’ve been playing since like MoP and have been maining this Druid since 8.2.
That is, until my sub runs out in 2 months.
He’s in the forums… He should be expected to discuss the game. Of course it doesn’t matter. But still.
Switching mains matters a great deal to me, the hardest 6hing for me in this game is deciding on what to main.

If you are so attached to your character you need emotional support to play another… then… eh…

I definitely know how you feel. I’ve switched mains 4-5 times this xpac, during all other xpacs that I have played I’ve stuck to 1 main. It definitely does feel bad when you worked so hard on a character just to switch but it gets easier, haha. 
If you’re anything like me then even if you continue to play your Warrior, you’re just going to keep thinking about that Druid. Imo, just bite the bullet and go with Druid if that’s what you enjoy. If you change your mind then your Warrior will still be waiting for you.
