I am think about switching from horde to alliance on another server and I’m wondering will I have to redo all my reps ? Will I lose any progress I’ve earned so far in SLs? The toon I want to move has been around since wrath and I don’t know if it just easier to roll another 60 rather than lose what I’ve earned.
You shouldn’t loose your rep. I had a horde character that had all of the Horde races reputation almost at Exalted. I switched and still got the Ambassador title, so rep should be fine.
You shouldn’t loose your progress either. Might have to do a few alliance quests for the horde quests.

I went alliance for SL and couldn’t be happier. I say do it OP.
Yep, I switched as well. I rolled Horde because everyone kept saying Alliance was dead even in SW for the endgame raid scene but that’s far from too.
I ran into way too many anti-social troll types in Area 52 as Horde. So far, SW as alliance has been a great experience.
Faction specific quests and incomplete quests will be lost. Everything else will just convert.
