Hi i am new to wow and was wondering how do i switch to different expansions. I thought once i hit level 50 it would give the option and i know Chromie is somehow tied to it just dont know how. Currently stuck on the Battle Of Azeroth one and wanted to try different ones for the story and raids. I really appreciate any help. Thank you.
once you hit 50, go to orgrimar on your new character and look for an hourglass icon on your map, stormwind for alliance.
level 50s cant access chromie time unless you’re in a group with a low level friend and use the level sync function.
currently at ogrimar and i see chromie just nothing is happening when i talk to her outside of how the situation in icecrown needed my help.
you must be on a level 10-49 to see and use her.
In addition to what the others said, you can turn on low level quest tracking in your minimap and still go and complete all of the quests in the game from any expansion while you are at max level.
Currently at 50. sorry for all the trouble. little baffled what i am missing haha.
Chromie time is basically just a leveling system to help players not feel like they have to switch continents every 2 hours.
Once you are max level you can explore the entire game on your own as it is now.
You can not go back to how the expansions were when they were out though, thus the discussion that led to them making WoW Classic.
You just have to manually go to the other zones. If you hit the magnifying glass icon on your mini map, select the checkmark next to “Trivial Quests”. This will let you see quests that you outlevel.
As for raids, you just have to fly to the entrance of old raids. You should be able to solo most of them at level 50.
nah its all good. like a the above poster stated, you can still go do all the quests in the game by click the magnifying glass on your minimap and select low level quest tracking, most mobs will be “grey” for you and you’ll one shot them.
Got it thank you guys. I appreciate it was trying to figure why i couldnt do the old dungeons and figured i was just in the new dlc only.
