If I decide to switch covenants while my sanctum is in the process of ‘building’ an upgrade (a.k.a. 5000 anima invested), will that sanctum be upgraded when I switch covenants back?

although you can recover it if you go back to that sanctum
some genius bliz progression dev thought of this piece of work which is now pushing sanctum burnout in players who have no desire to spend anima on their sanctums for alts or covenant swaps
The anima is actually there waiting for you if you switch back. I know this from personal experience with swapping covenants.
