i was wondering if there are any plans to enable a wider spectrum for Loot rules?
I would wish to decide which of the stated looting rules i like to use to aquire loot, rather than being forced into one rule for all. Please consider adding the option to toggle the desired looting system. It would enhance the overall experience in every detail.
Group loot basicly is that option. You can make it works like master loot if everyone agree else it works like personnal loot minus the stacking option (which is bad in term of class variety as it encourages stacking to share the same loot).
That is incorrect. Personal loot gives every player the chance to loot a spec specific item. Group loot gives a shared item pool, a roll with a shared chance to obtain. Those systems are fundamental different.
Which I have explained after that I don’t think personal loot letting people stack the same class for loot is fair or balanced or good for class variety.
your opinion is just yours. If people want to stack their classes, let them. Having a wider variety of class buffs is always the better way to raid anyways.
What i want to see is changes to raid loot. Because the current system is not good at all. Loot distributation is way worse than it should be
That might be true for higher end content but doesn’t matter for other content.
You can easily clear a heroic raid by class stacking, people were selling funneling runs when personnal loot was a thing for raids.
The advantage of being able to do that is way higher than any short term raid buff gain for that kind of content.
Not sure I understand. You’re wanting personal loot as an option, again? In raids.
Yes exactly. Personal loot is an instanced loot pool for just the one spec you play. The chance to see your spec specific loot is much higher, than across an all class shared loot pool.
