So I’ve played body type 1 for a long time now, and was considering changing to body type 2. So my question is…if I switch back to body type 1 after selecting body type 2, will my appearance be saved? or will i have to try to remember my selections?

No, unfortunately, it won’t be saved. I wish it would, maybe one day they’ll add a save option for the barbershop.

I have to tweak a few selections on my nightborne when I swap them around. It never quite saved both layouts

because i dont want to lose my appearance i have right now…like i just said.
Let’s be honest, for as many options as there are, it really has little impact on the look of the character beyond hair and skin color. So feel free to switch, then when you switch back you may discover something you like better.
Or just screen shot before you make the switch

Stays the same unless you pick body type 3, but if you identify as a body type 4 then you have to switch it because that would be cultural appropriation. Body type 6 through 12 give you extra social credit you can spend on the pansexual trading post but only on Wednesdays. Thursdays you can pick to be body type 13 but only in the morning. They are working on a new monthly rotation to include the other 32 body types.

Easy way to remember your selects is to screeshot each page.

Here is a tip, go to the barbershop, with your regular character before changing. Hit the windows key + shift + S all at the same time, this will bring up a snippet tool. Crop your appearances in a box, then control + V into paint. Go to the next tab of your appearances and snip paste again until you have all of them in a paint file, save it 
Now when you wanna go back you don’t have to even remember what you had setup it’ll all be in a paint file for you!
Works great for lots of other stuff too, best way to take screenshots and share via discord etc!!

When you go into edit mode for your change, take photos with your phone of all the original settings! That’s what I did and works a treat
