So form a counter premade, like I’m doing!
I form premades to fight their premades, and I’m winning em.
Also try epics. Horde seems to be doing better there.

I wonder how many people fail to realize the reason Alliance is doing so well is Horde pvpers are using merc mode…
Probably more people coming back to wow and wanting to be on the “good” pvp side. You all are starting to carry some dead weight. Join the club I guess.
I see you are incapable of remaining on topic. If I join a premade, which I haven’t done in a long time, I should only be fighting other premades.
It’s all about the queue times
How’s alliance doing in epic BG’s now?
I tried to make the switch earlier in BfA and was really enjoying myself until I realized that the alliance winrate in the 25/40 mans was obscenely bad.
AV has gone up considerably, since the NPCs are extremely weak. and I’ve won all IOC besides one.
Wintergrasp is dependent on who is attacking and who is defender, and Ashran is usually a easy horde win.
I wonder how many people are like you. Want to play alliance but the bg win rate is so bad they go horde.
Alliance has won all 4 avs i have done because boss dies so fast even with 2 towers up and alliance win the race so…
They also have won every IOC so far
Wintergrasp as ragaren has said depends whos attacking/defending
Ashran only got this once and it was a loss so i cant comment on that until i get it more but it pops the least out of the 4 epics
I’ve geared up faster than almost all my guildmates doing just BGs and some arena skirms. We aren’t a hardcore guild, but its fast right now to gear up doing PvP.
Also Alliance has been kicking butt since prepatch dropped. The games are a lot more competitive these days - I haven’t been involved in a total one-sided game yet - but we are still winning a lot.
I’m happy because I was going to go Horde this xpac for pvp alone, because I love the Alliance for everything else. I’m glad we’re holding our own.
Yea I guess they didn’t pvp enough to know could save the money, and merc. But typical of the majority, more cost effective to be with the grain.
I have been in matches that are intense and last second wins. So both sides have finally stepped up to make it fun, now just to do some fine tuning! Overall, pvp might actually be something this xpac.
I think having a solid reward system is helping things a lot. Everyone cares the whole game cuz gear is at stake.
Either way, its been really fun!
I don’t know what happened to the Alliance, but as soon as Pre-Patch hit our BG win rates are almost like 80%. We’re even getting the +50% honor bonus again which makes farming PvP gear an absolute breeze.
This is a good reminder that you should take 98% of everything said on this forum with a metric ton of salt and skepticism.
Probably did 20+ BGs yeserday. If you take away the >10K crits and some of the overtuned healing for hybrids, the BGs were better quality than BFA or prepatch, IMO.
Lopsided matches will get worse over time as gear settles in, however.
Alliance won most of the BGs I was in.
It’s tough. I loved the races, mounts, cities, racial abilities, etc. and the guild/community I was in was huge and really active. BG queues were short, WM bonuses were better, AoO…
The one and only thing that’s been keeping me here is our crushing winrate in epic BGs and the wintergrasp enthusiasts community. I imagine there are many more like me but who can say?
Honestly: even with everyone having equal gear… there’s still lobsided matches I’ve been in where one side absolutely pounds the other and spawn camps them.
BGs feel smooth though at the moment. There’s a few classes which are doing too much damage, but everything else feels like how it was at the end of BFA. There’s just no undergeared “free kills” anymore where you literally have 2-3 times their HP.
As the expansion moves on the gear gap will grow, especially if blizzard makes no effort to make unrated PvP gear scale beyond 171.
I believe it will max out at 197 with Renown 22.

Right now you can have people in the random BGs with an item level gap of 40, although I haven’t really seen anyone at the low end but 20 seems more common.
