Switch to Dual Wield for Survivability

 I am new to Death Knight and I noticed we can dual wield, but two-handed weapon is a lot better. I was thinking of switching to DW with  one hand

[Rune of the Stoneskin Gargoyle] and another is
[Rune of the Fallen Crusader]. Any thoughts?

You don’t play dual wield for survivability. Generally speaking, dual wielding is better for damage right now. If you have 4 set from tier, you use Rune of the Fallen Crusader and Rune of Hysteria or Sinful Revelation. If you don’t have the bonus, you use Rune of the Fallen Crusader and Rune of Razorice.

I am assuming you mean Frost in this case. The other specs cannot dual wield effectively.

You can’t use this rune on a 1-hander.
