Ever since patch and the new switch flight style button, I have been having problems. I usually use dragonriding but once in a while, I require normal flying so that I can hover or do certain other things. That part is not a problem. The problem happens when I try to switch back to dragon riding. I can use the button and it seems to be working, but when I try to mount, I can only mount ground mounts, doesn’t matter where I am. The only way I have found to fix this is to exit the game and log back in to my character.

Having the same problem here. However, logging out did not help me. I am stuck in steady flight mode now.

Having the same issue, reloading/logging out does not fix it for me. I can put a flying mount on hot bars and use it as intended, but seems to do this when you use your favorites/random mount button.

I have a similar issue. I was a level 100 before it got scaled down to 40 and at 40 still. I THINK I’m supposed to have the Switch Flight Mode button but don’t. I thought it was available at 20 (new levels) but maybe I was scaled down before that button existed - I don’t recall seeing it or even knowing about it back when I was 100. Anyone know how I can get it or perhaps how I can actually ask Blizzard? They really don’t like helping people with game issues it seems…thanks.

Happening for me as well! I managed to get my favorite mount button to work again by manually deselecting all of my ground mounts. But now the switch flight styles button does not work. I cast it, and it changes the lettering on the tooltip as if the spell had worked, but when I summon a mount, the dragonflying spells don’t appear and I’m still in steady flight mode.

Having the SAME issue, been doing a couple PvP events and somehow it keeps switchin to the other.
Anyone submitted a ticket yet??
