I love how so many people are quick to jump on the 2%-10% are false accusations thing.
Let’s flip that around… 90-98% of victims of sexual assault are telling the truth!

She says she was only willing to have sex with Swifty and Swifty kept trying to talk her into having sex with his friend. And that she made it clear that she did not.
They cancelled Live PD 'cause they filmed someone that was brought in and filmed an inmate who died without doing anything.
The rest I agree… so much pandering to the current cancel culture.
slowly raises hand
I hear ya, but you keep forgetting how United States is run. Majority of cases are false claims. How many innocent people were lynch back in the old days or black wall street being burned down?
It’s a manipulative game. I understand some claims can be true, but majority of them aren’t. In today’s era evidence can only do, but so much because you’ll still look guilty after being proven innocent. The false status remains on the innocent forever.
If it is something that is detrimental to others, if it is an act against another person/animal etc, causes any sort of harm or Deity forbid death…it should be reported.
Silence is not the answer. If you remain silent against something you have witnessed to be illegal(harmfully so - beat-downs, hit and runs etc), or immoral, you are just as guilty as the person committing w/e it is that you have witnessed. (Speaking in general, not you specifically mind you.)
He has no case of this against Blizzard if he is found innocent. All Blizzard did was remove an NPC that can be easily returned. They have not verbally spoken against him in any way, therefore he cannot bring that type of charge or any charge against Blizzard…in this sense, Blizzard is innocent, and simply looking at the larger picture of their already tarnished brand.
EDITED To be more specific
Except in both cases the women clearly didn’t like it at all.
Once again I feel compelled to ask. Did you even read the accusations?
Is he in jail? has he been arrested? Is he being sued? No. It has nothing to do with the law.
His NPC was removed??Booo freaking hoo
Yes; to protect property, corporations, and wealthy interests. Those same laws often fail sexual assault victims (usually non-male victims) for a number of reasons you can easily look up yourself on the same internet you’re on right now.
As for Swifty, I haven’t decided, partly because while dozens of women have come forward with accusations against twitch streamers, Swifty included, it wasn’t Swifty that was focused on (if I’m wrong here, I’m welcome to corrections). I’m inclined to believe victims when there are multiple similar accounts against one person or entity; when it’s one victim and information is iffy, I’m more wary (see: Amber Heard).
I’m sure there are many up and coming streamers that haven’t. It isn’t exactly a small pool of hopefuls.
Indeed. Right, reactionary or a condemnation, ultimately this remains to be seen.
ehh no, this company cares about its reputation. That’s the only reason.
Alright, good. Welcome to single-player online-capable WoW. It’s like Skyrim, sort of.
The majority of cases aren’t found to be false claims. Majority of cases can not be proven. Which is different. Because like in my case, if you don’t have a person or evidence, they can’t or won’t do anything.
Our country’s history is volatile that’s for sure. And lots of injustices have happened. But also consider the ones that have been victims that will never have justice in the other direction.
And how do you know that this case isn’t one of the 2-10%?
He’s being accused of trying to kiss a girl?
You know I’m almost sure everyone is guilty of doing some “shady” stuff and most of it would be pretty harmless and all it does is make you look bad; I’d assume we all had a moment where we said something a bit shady
However then we turn into adults and don’t do that stuff anymore because we know better
Innocent until proven guilty. Except people refuse to go by this and believe whatever dribble falls from someones mouth.
Let them tell it in court then, and NOT on social media.
I hope all of you out there realize that, too much publicity sometimes leads to cases being moved to a different venue or even outright dismissed.
So if I say you harassed me for years then you should be charged despite there being no evidence of such?
Yeah ok buddy let’s wait for some evidence before condemning
