Does anyone know why they changed Swiftness Potion to 49 or lower but still give it to level 50s from PvP boxes?
Because Blizzard is toxic
wtf i had thousands of them. D:
Sometimes, Blizz has to remind you who’s the dom and who’s the sub.
Blizzard doesn’t actually pay attention to what they are doing anymore.
Throw paint on the wall and fill in the missed spots as enough people complain. If nobody notices it’s job well done.

Yep, just another random digital probe. Bend over.
Blizzard employees don’t PvP so they wouldn’t know that they did this.
Well, no one was getting the “current” version, and what, you expect them to come up with new ideas for potions?
That’s like expecting Apple not to come out with new proprietary ports every other release.
Essentially, they HATE when old content is valuable. Because they believe that new/casual players will become upset if they find out that they need to do a lot of “extra” to catch up.
In the case of swiftness potions, it required sinking into vanilla herbalism/alchemy, and a recipe that usually sold for a lot of gold. Barriers that really really casual players couldn’t hit.
Same reason the garrison portal now puts you in the portal room basement in org, instead of being a much more convenient spot right at the top.
Same reason they deleted relics, because people found ways to make rare recipes VERY valuable, and very powerful. A full speed set would have probably been outrageously expensive, and likely to upset casuals.
Swiftness potions had the best value for all the speedy pots.
Looks like Blizz is revaluing all the alchemical concoctions come Shadowlands release.
Yea, my entire pvp community was talking about this too. We’re all dumfounded by this inane change. I mean…why???
The changes to Consumables needs to be reverted, or tweaked and reverted. This just took another “fun factor” away from the game. And they wonder why their sub count has gone down. They still reward in pvp boxes max level, shows how much consideration went into this nerf.
