Why was the swiftness potion that pre-patch was working for level 120’s but now with shadowlands has been nerfed so that it is not effective above 49 and draenic swiftness potion is not effective above level 50 ?
All runspeed potions are level 49-50 only. I guess to stop Mythic+ people.
You will find a lot of old chants, pots etc aren’t viable after lvl 50. Lightfoot potions will work in the maw and then hit 51, you cant use them. Its a good move to allow the current xpacs goods to be viable, ie SL invis potion v legion one.

You say that but why. I see nothing wrong with old things becoming obsolete to freshen up and reboot and SL is a reboot
But here is the problem. they took away the 50% for 15 seconds and now we have the 70% for 8 seconds. I see the SL Potion of the Psychopomp’s Speed but again this is only 70% for 8 seconds. I had hoped that they would have the comparable 50%/15 sec, and I would have hoped until they actually released the actual content not to nerf it in the pre-patch. bad planning IMHO

Due to the level squish all potions (and many other things) were nerfed in order to make the newest crafts more relevant. I think everything old stops working past 50.
