I started playing resto druid and swiftmend doesn’t seem to be working correctly. Per tooltip consumes a regrowth, wild growth, or rejuvenation effect to instanly heal an ally. This works as listed if i’m solo, but in group swiftmend only becomes available to click after I cast wild growth. It doesn’t work with regrowth or rejuvenation available. Anyone else have this issue or and I seeing the ability wrong?
Just to clarify, it consumes the Rejuv/Regrowth/WG on the target you’re wanting to cast Swiftmend on.
It doesn’t just eat a random, the target of your swiftmend has to have one of those HoTs rolling
I understand that, however in group if I cast rejuvenation or regrowth on a group member swiftmend will not become available to click. Only after casting wild growth does it become available to click on a group member.
100% you are trying to swiftmend someone without a hot on them.

For regrowth, there’s a slight delay before you can Swiftment the target.
That’s the only weird thing I’ve found tho. Your game is either horribly broken or you’re doing something wrong.
One of two things is happening. Either you don’t have a HoT on the target and trying to cast swiftmend on them. Or you have a HoT on the target but are trying to cast Swiftmend on yourself.
The fact it works with wildgrowth makes me 100% believe this is a targeting issue.

Going to agree with the above. Your swiftmend macro seems to be targeting yourself if you are using one, otherwise, make sure you have someone with a HOT on them targeted. It’s working with WG because you have it on yourself.

Maybe the OP was having a macro problem, but there’s definitely a bug. At least there is right now. I noticed it wasn’t casting sometimes, randomly, so I started testing it and I’ve definitely had times when a rejuv was on the target, I was targeted on them (no macros), in a group, Swiftmend off cooldown and it just wouldn’t cast. No error or anything, just wouldn’t.
Unless there’s something else going on, it’s bugged. It’s been a while since this thread was opened so it might be a different bug but probably not. Probably something random interfering for some people and not others (?).
This was a 2 year old post. Likely not relevant anymore.

Just curious, are you clicking or tab cycling individual party member frames at a time to HoT and heal?
