Can it please not require thousands of gold? What’s the point you can just buy the mount instead.
i mean… you need to buy the 5000 riding skill and then just buy the skill when you ve completed the quest.
Already saved 1000 gold on normal flight. Druids dont need an extra 5000 free gold on epic flight. Farm it out or dont, its not needed. If your guild kicks you for not having the idol then I guess that sucks.

I’ve had the 5000g mount since like 1 week into the expansion. Being able to be in a flight form which flies as fast as my mount helps a lot for my herbing.
We do get the regular flight form for free (which has a 1000g value) so there’s that… but yeah I could see the disappointment if you didn’t know about this.

It has always needed the epic flying training. The benefit is instant cast and you can gather while in form.
That seems well worth the gold to me.

It is, it’s one of the most worth gold investments in the game. You can gather in flight form, you get riding crop for flight form, you get BiS idol for every spec - value is disgustingly huge on the idol itself - you get epic flight and its still instant cast, and finally you get access to the Raven lord boss who drops an exclusive mount.
Absurd that someone wants this to be handed out for free.

Oh man. I will be making my Druid Tanks do HSetthek until we all get the mount! Can’t wait.
Well im just reserving the mount for myself in guild runs because I spent the 5k for it. People are welcome to fight for the ones after the first.
You spent 5k for epic riding skill, as everyone does.
I don’t understand the confusion some druids are having.
We already get slow flying skill for free. At 68. No one else does.
But yes, first Anzu to the summoning druid is fair.

The point, is that you can turn into a bird instead of riding a mount.
You don’t see the point if it doesn’t provide you with some mechanical advantage? Then–like most of the game actually–it’s not aimed at you.
