sweeping strikes should cast cleave on use
thanks for coming to my ted talk
There should be a consolidation of aoe for arms. We shouldn’t have thunderclap+ww+cleave+sweeping strikes. It’s going to take a rework to clean up this mess.
Yeah i feel like we have too many buttons that basically do the same thing… coming back from cata and it seems like they added 10-20 buttons for every class for no reason like we didnt have enough stuff to keybind in this game already
Remember when SwS was 100% cleave?
Good thing it’s 75% instead. Wouldn’t want to get that 14% delta in the ever-so-common two target cleave for 15 seconds.
I still pop SwS and try to Cleave and get angry when there’s not a smorgasbord of numbers flying up in my dopamine receptors… even letting cleave double for that window would be enough coverage for Bladestorm gaps without overwhelming it…
guess they figured it pingponging would be too much even though it really wouldnt compared to what some classes can do
Across the board, talent design has been a great springboard but a bad landing zone.
The AoE talents and ST talents dichotomy needs to end, and talents need to path naturally to incorporate both types of engagement—be more about theme and aesthetic than function…
For sure, it feels bad when you’re either aoe or single target.
I wish they would just get rid of ss and bake all our aoe into cleave. Cleave feels so much better to me.
Imo, bladestorm and cleave should be baseline.
agreed (op just don’t feel like changing)
it feels weird to play arms without bladestorm being usable on some fights
just feels heretical
You don’t. You don’t play cleave in any content except maybe PvP. With Storm of Swords you don’t often press WW either.
The current m+ build you don’t have bladestorm but you have to, ww, and cleave. Which is lame because bladestorm is cool. And on the talent panel.
You don’t play cleave in M+ at all.
Let’s just make everything baseline and ditch these talent trees
Subcreation and u.gg both show warriors running cleave. So I’ll go with what is working at the high end over what a random paladin says.
Talents can be great but we need our core spells to be baseline.
why though? A lot of “core” abilities that define specs were never baseline to begin with.
For one it might get us some new and fun talents to replace the spells we need to pick up in our talents
Neither of them show this.
On subcreation sort by key level the max key level 29 has it. And if you check the top warrior on raider.Io they’re also using cleave.
