I finally cave in and swap to kyrian for pvp purposes, wanted to see how it feel having that over condemn and play around with it. Still have to get use to not pressing execute at full hp mobs haha, but i do have some question rotation wise in pve.
With the opener, is it like charge, into warbreaker, rend, ms, spear, double OP and finally bladestorm? I remember it was discuss a wild back, cant find it, might as well ask again.
With rend being a talent to use now with kyrian, do i keep rend up in execute phase?
With Spear and warbreaker being on different cd, do i just use them on cd? Or i want to like use it together?
And lastly, fervor of battle is it better then massacre for m+ with kyrian or its similar?
Potion>Charge>avatar>rend>warbreaker>spear>MS>OP>OP>MS>BS. You will overcap rage. But delaying bladestorm until after Avatar is worse. You probably won’t be able to fit bladestorm into the CS buff.
Yes keep rend up in execute phase.
Yes use spear and WB on CD. Much more important to line Avatar up with every second WB. Treat spear as a stand alone CD except for on pull. (It all lines up at the 3 minute mark).
Yes fervor of battle is stronger AOE damage. I usually go rend on Tyrannical weeks and fervor on Fortified.
Now at this point, as far as I can gather, it’s a lot of theoretical. What’s oft done after cs is, OP x2 -MS, then throw in spear.
BS when you can, really. With this opener it’s entirely possible, even likely that part of BS will be outside the CS window to avoid rage capping. That’s alright.
It was the same overall dps usually to keep it up or drop it entirely in execute back in bfa, before the crit damage was added. Now, you definitely always keep it up.
Use them on CD, is how it’s currently done.
This could be affected by fight timers, allowing for them to be used together more often (or less, with bad luck) but currently you don’t delay one for the other.
Although, you could do so if it does not cost you a cast overall. Keep that in mind.
