This mob is required for The Swamp Talker quest in the long Blasted Lands core quest chain, if this quest can’t be completed the entire zone story chain is blocked.
I’ve been in the cave for over 30 mins, I’ve killed all the mobs in his location 3 times, there was no evidence of his recently being killed by another player.
I’m in the exact place shown in three differerent videos of this mob.

LOL, so I found him totally not where all the references to this mob say he is!

Further searches reveal I found him where he was in vanilla, seems he was moved some time later and all the videos I found of him were of his new location.
