so was watching my gf play her shaman and she used the portal to sw from cot and it dropped her into the middle of the ocean next to several other people

Least you arn’t horde right now. Reports say the portal from org to UC on the zeplin tower ports you into a gas chamber and kills you lol

What can of worms maintenance unleashed this time. 
My husband is currently trying to teleport his undead mage to Stonard from somewhere out in the world and it’s dumping him in the ocean as well.
Lol it happened to me, took portal to stormwind from caverns of time and went to make some food, come back and I’m dead in the middle of the ocean in swamp of sorrows.
Happened to me today too, along with other random players. we were ported to the ocean far east of Burning Steppes, though it said I was in Swamp of Sorrows. I was able to fly north to Badlands before the fatigue meter ran out
That’s because people are phased to the current phase of Lordaeron and need to do the BfA intro (possibly some other quests, too, depending on how the game feels 
) in order to be able to see and use Zidormi.
Blizz needs to move the Hallow’s End event.
I just find it hilarious that these 2 things didn’t exist before this downtime

The portal to Undericty has done this since at least SL, due to the three different phases.

AHh has it? first time ive heard about it. then again i haven’t played horde really since MoP
Yeah… it’s always a fun time to find out which alt doesn’t have the correct phase, gets ported into UC and dies in two ticks of plague. 
Yep, I reported it in the bug forum awhile ago. And the SW portal from the panda shrine dumps you in the sky over the lake at Lordaeron
see what happens when y’all make them rush the updates? they leave portals all messed up.
I bet you right now there is a dev lost somewhere in game. scared as all get out.
Same for me, and you’re in the fatigue zone.
Portals cost 1g to use and it only takes exact change, otherwise it drops you wherever it pleases.
