SV - Why does Kill Shot require a 2h melee weapon?

Serpent Sting doesn’t. This has to be an oversight right? I get it’s not critical, but swapping to a ranged weapon for niche circumstances and still being able to uphold a rotation is one of my new favorite things in WoW. I really hope they fix this.

(I understand there are bigger fish to fry in regards to hunter balance. Just wanted to drop my feedback somewhere.)

It is odd that a ranged ability requires a 2h melee weapon to use. I’d much prefer it just work like serpent sting. I’m also enjoying weapon swapping based on what’s needed for a given circumstance. And I would love to not have to switch to melee to use a ranged ability.

it’s because blizzard doesnt want people playing it with a bow instead of a melee weapon.

Ironically, it uses the mini-crossbow animation.

I hear you, but if this were the case, they shouldn’t have allowed SV to use ranged weapons and made the basic skills in the ranged rotation baseline.

They should just make survival be the only class that requires a ranged weapon and melee weapon to work.

It does! Serpent Sting does as well though, and it doesn’t require a 2h melee. :man_shrugging:
