Hello everyone!
Volunteer Guard day is coming up on the 28th, and once again the Stormwind Union will be hosting a community event to celebrate it! This year to tie into some current and upcoming RP and all the pirates in this expansion, our event will focus on stopping piracy and smuggling.
The event will run from 5pm - 9pm server at Stormwind Harbor. At the top of every hour we’ll have a special demonstration or contest. They are:
Find the hidden contraband!
Identify mystery substances and say whether they’re illegal or not!
Observe how the Watch stops and searches a wagon for illegal items!
Learn how to defend yourself on the sea from pirates!
There will, of course, be the usual exceptional prizes associated with the contests.
The great community on the server is what makes our guard RP possible, so we thank all of you for that! We hope to see everyone at our event!

I think I’m off that night so hopefully I can attend. I think I came last year and it was pretty entertaining throughout the night. I look forward to this years.
Should also note about the Guard duty buff for that day. If you have it on, you will be attacked continuously by spawns. As a courtesy I would recommend not having the buff on during the event. This way it wouldn’t interrupt or mess with the event.
Thanks for noting the guard buff issue. I agree that it’d be better for people to not come with it on. We look forward to seeing you all on the 28th!
I think it would be fun to have the Watch running hither and yon to fight these npcs! Let us shine in all the action!
Of course it might get old after awhile…still, Alastir Wardley will do his duty and heal all those who come to him with injuries.
Wait, you mean I have to fight too!?
Guard Day is coming up soon! See you all Tuesday night!
It’s Guard Day! See you at Stormwind Harbor from 5pm - 9pm! Feel free to come and go, but don’t miss the special events happening at the top of each hour!
We’re starting very soon at 5pm server!
Thanks to everyone who attended the event tonight! You’re awesome!
