Survival of the fittest should be 8 sec instead of 6, and the modifier talent should be 20% 1 minute cooldown, 40% reduction 2 minute cooldown.
Exilaration should heal for more.

Would rather have a lower CD
Agree on other points.
Every solo shuffle I play, if I see a hunter I know I will win if I focus em. Or if enemy focuses me, I am a toast most of the time.
On top of that, we need our half-immunity to be usable while stunned.
It is funny how medallion + aspect of the turtle + feign death + feign death pvp talent is still worse than the immunities other classes have.
Im not too fond on walls on stuns, i believe there is a place for stun opening for kill scenarios.
What class besides maybe fury warriors and DKs can use their wall on CC ?
And you talking about the Immunity not the wall, but as you said, its a half immunity, not a full immunity. So it should not be usable on while CC. You got traps to plan ahead.
For me the only issue is the cooldown on Survival of the FIttest being too long, and the duration being 6 second is waaaay too short for the ammount of burst present.
You mean what class has stuff that can save them during a stun without their trinket?
Priest (Pain Suppression (Disc only), Dispersion (Shadow only), Guardian Spirit (Holy))
Mage (Ice Block)
Paladin (Divine Shield)
Demon Hunter (Auto-Blur)
DK (Blood Draw)
Druid (Barkskin)
Monk (Revival (Mistweaver only), Transcendence, Dematerialize)
Evoker (Emerald Communion (Preserver only))
Rogue (Cheat Death)
Shaman (Nature’s Guardian)
Warlock (Dark Pact)
Warrior (Enraged Regeneration (Fury only))
Hunter (Fortitude of the Bear)
Did I miss anything?
Every class has something with only 3 outliers…
Devastation Evoker, but they do get Nullifying Shroud.
Arms Warrior with only Pain and Gain as a minor passive heal proc.
And Hunter… Because majority of hunters don’t use a tenacity pet or no pet in PvP. Master’s Call is too important.
For Hunter, just giving us fortitude of the bear and Primal Rage as a baseline and making Master’s call the baseline per command for all 3 pet specialization would fix a lot of issues. (Also deleting Lone Wolf as an ability and making the pet take 90% less from AoE and AoE applied DoTs)
I Meant walls
Priest (Pain Suppression (Disc only), Dispersion (Shadow only), Guardian Spirit (Holy))
PS is a buff, Dispersion ok
Mage (Ice Block)
Immunity
Paladin (Divine Shield)
Immunity
Demon Hunter (Auto-Blur)
Not a wall
DK (Blood Draw)
Not a wall, but already except on my list
Druid (Barkskin)
Ok, a mini wall
Monk (Revival (Mistweaver only), Transcendence, Dematerialize)
Good to know
Evoker (Emerald Communion (Preserver only))
Not a wall
Rogue (Cheat Death)
Not a wall
Shaman (Nature’s Guardian)
Not a wall
Warlock (Dark Pact)
An absorv, not their wall
Warrior (Enraged Regeneration (Fury only))
Already listed
Hunter (Fortitude of the Bear)
And by your own logic, Roar of Sacrifice
My problems are with the cooldowns and duration of Survival of the fittest
it should be, depending what you talent
20% DR, 1 minute cooldown, 8 sec duration
40% DR, 2 minute cooldown, 8 sec duration
Auto blur is 30% damage reduction, same as enraged Regen.
Wall or not, what we should be looking at is survivability as a whole.
Hunters are pretty weak in stuns, Roar of Sacrifice being the only thing that can save them, assuming the pet isn’t dead or CCed itself.
Hunters also have the lowest sustain of any class as well the least effective damage reduction on a % to uptime basis.
Isnt Blur a dodge ??
It’s both. 50% dodge, 20% damage reduction.
Auto blur adds 10% damage reduction to it and procs it automatically at half CD half duration of you hit 35% health.
Ok.
Its not that strong though… 20% is not 30%
Anything lower than 30% with the kind of damage we are seeing, is basically trash (of course we’d have to see the whole defensive toolkit, and DHs are more than fine, hence they getting nerfed when they fly and only take 25% dmg)
The dodge is useless against casters. And still RNG against melee
EDIT
Nevermind
So yeah, 30% DR and 50% dodge, pretty decent, pretty crazy how they got that and a 75% defensive on top of it!
It’s 30% with auto blur talent is what I’m saying. 20% is the base without the talent.
yeah, edited.
Well they getting the nerfbat pretty heavily, also on their defensive toolkit
Problem with demon hunter is that no matter how they tweak their damage and sustain, demon hunter will either be overpowered or underpowered. They can’t ever be balanced so long as they don’t nerf their mobility and control.
6 gap closers, 4 ranged CCs, 2 of which are on a short 30s CD, a ranged interrupt and a ranged snare. They have more control at range than a hunter does, which makes absolutely 0 sense, on top of having more mobility than 2 melee class combined.
Personally I’d just like it to not be on a GCD.
