yea it’s pretty clear blizz is keeping melee SV around for some reason. maybe a dev’s kid asked for it for christmas.
the biggest problem with SV is every alpha/beta the forums get flooded with people trying to remake the spec again and they probably aren’t even going to play it more than a week when they reroll dragon boys.
if there were as many MM suggestions as SV then maybe the spec would actually be fun to play again and ranged SV wouldn’t be argued for another 10 years. i wouldn’t even mind if they ripped the entire black arrow/explosive shot interaction and pasted it into MM. the spec has been mediocre since HFC and idk why it didn’t get a rework for DF.
I’m not sure why they didn’t improve the Legion iteration.
The core (lacerate, mongoose bite and flanking strike) was fun but they balanced it around the most cancerous talent i have ever seen so i had to swap to a playable spec for raids.
Now it’s full of random ranged fillers and bombs i have to throw at my feet
