Survival Hunter survivability in PvP (1v1's, Skirm, etc)

Hi, I am by no means trying to say Sv Hunter is trash.

Our dmg is great and all that. I feel okay in Arenas/Solo Shuffle with a healer, but man it is real tough as Sv hunter in skirmishes and 1v1’s, world pvp, etc. Our ability to survive without a healer is not okay at all. Nearly every single class has better 1v1 potential than Sv hunter with the exception of maybe warrior against us. Maybe I perfected the art of beating a warrior, but that is the only class that comes to mind that I can beat without too many issues.

When it comes to fighting a ret paladin, a spriest, a boomy, or anything with better defensive’s, healing, etc, than us, we just flop. This is not acceptable anymore.

I want to have better 1v1 and survivability potential as SURVIVAL HUNTER. IT’S IN THE NAME SURVIVAL HUNTER.

It is so tilting trying to que skirmishes to complete the skirm quest as Sv hunter when I just get destroyed by literally every class.

I don’t like this at all. Sv Hunter is my main and I really enjoy it outside that, but we need reworked in terms of defensives.

I would like to hear others take on this. I like to consider myself a fairly decent survival hunter too.

I am screaming playing Sv hunter in PvP without a healer. It’s so god awful, I may actually quit the game until changes to sv come because of this. I’m not happy.

I’d agree with this, we were doing ok when we had the self heal from Packleader but even that felt rough. Now it feels like we’re borderline made of paper. I was excited for the new camp skill but sadly its unusable in RBG or SRBG.

I realize that sounds silly and we dont want to take away from Mages, but hunters job in SRGB is usually to hold a point. I had someone win a point from me not because they beat me, but because they just kept reviving and running it down. I eventually ran out of cooldowns and lost my point because the teams were tied.

This was all because I had 1 heal and we didnt have a mage on the team. If you aren’t going to let me have the ability to heal and you want to take healing away from everyone which is why you arent giving us anything, then please let me use this new camp in Rated Battlegrounds, not Arenas of course.

Losing a point because someone keeps zerging you down brainlessly just cause you cant heal at all is insane.
