people complaining because they “LoSt A sPeC tHeY lOvEd” and its like… just accept the revamp that was made, sure its a bit all over the place but if you’re not having fun MM and BM are perfectly ranged hunter specs, I enjoy this version of survival, I think its got a high skill ceiling and the way you have so much mobility and stuff, weaving around from melee and ranged it feels fun imo. stop complaining because blizz isn’t ever going to revert sv hunter or make a 4th spec, its not how they do things LOL every class/spec has its problems, enough of the threads. Go play classic, TBC is coming out so you can enjoy ur old SV hunter there

Nah, it isnt. I even gave it a chance in legion and bfa multiple times. The spec is a clunky mess. Yes, I miss old survival but that isn’t the only reason I hate current survival.

I mean when did you start playing wow? Legion? Hunter was a pretty cool class from what I remembered, now it just feels lifeless like many others do.

Survival is nice…at lower levels.
There is that one spell that doesnt stack for a decent amount of time that makes it unfun as hell.
Also, no dual wielding…
you gave no real reason/proof to why you think hunter feels lifeless “like many others do”

Wow. You dont get that people just have different opinions, do you? I want my old survival back AND I want to play new content. If you cant get that through your head first, then you’re just being a close minded troll and no one should waste time on you.
Also, have you not seen that people are pushing for old survival as a 4th spec? Not like youd lose your melee spec if our wish comes true

people have complained about classes and specs since the dawn of this MMO, name one time blizz made a 4th spec to please ppl or reverted a revamp? id love to hear some examples
Ok, blizzard prunned class abilities and classes from what they used to be, to the abysmal state of what they are now. Yes they removed talents and certain things that weren’t needed but, they took out abilities that made the class feel like the class you were playing. For example, rogues lost their posions, eventually they did get them back.

That’s not something I have kept track of so I don’t know that it hasn’t happened before but even if it hasn’t, just because it hasn’t doesn’t mean it can’t.
I haven’t been able to get into Survival Hunters yet. I’ve tried, but the gameplay isn’t that fun for me.
However, I don’t think Blizzard should be changing it back to ranged. It has a interesting class/spec fantasy, and I don’t like the idea of removing or drastically changing specs in general.
If enough people want the old Survival back, then Blizzard should give them their own fourth spec instead of removing Survival melee.
