This would be largely pointless. It would be more interesting if you had different types of ammo work this way but we saw a better approach for that in game with dedicated augmented shots like Explosive Shot and the Exotic Munitions talent. They dropped the ball on it with Legion and melee SV though because now the special ammo aspect of the class has no focus and is instead just a diminished floating “background” theme for the class.

Thats actually what I was getting at - different types of ammo and stuff without adding to the talents disaster.
