Im just sitting here wondering why would anyone craft this legendary when Cluster and Rylak’s strikes exist.

Wanting a general purpose throughput legendary for multiple specs that isn’t Soulforge Embers? But even then, Call of the Wild exists, as does Nesingwary’s.

Actually just checked, looks like it’s working as intended, with a tooltip to match.

RIP OP.

Contrast with Strength of the Pack, intended for Survival, which specifies Kill Command resets. BM also has a Kill Command reset mechanic via Killer Cobra, which does not proc this damage increase. I reported that one as a bug a while back.

It def only has the SV Icon when you look at it ingame

So I’m not sure how people keep thinking its meant for BM when that doesn’t seem to be the case

Because that icon is nowhere to be found when you loot it.

And to clarify, when I reported it as a bug, it was the same as here - either fix the interaction, or add “Requires: Survival” to the tooltip and I would consider it fixed.

But its defiantly there when you look at the conduit on your soul bind tree, you know, before you commit to socketing it.

Its also greyed out when you are in BM and is grouped with the other SV conduit powers.

You have to literally go out of your way to mistake this power for a BM conduit.

I just don’t like soul forged embers. Rylak’s would definitely be better, but I also picked dire command because I just like summoning a bunch of animals. It’s a flavor thing for me since I’m not worried about pushing mythic raiding or high keys atm.

I crated it because it was all I had and ultimately it seemed like a fun talent. Survival is not the optimal spec as you know, but it is fun and very dangerous. Now at the rate you can actually spam kill command it would proc this quite frequently which could end up being very obnoxious in arenas

Ardreaver I see what you’re saying, but I crafted it without checking which makes me dumb, but I was very excited. Once it’s crafted its not greyed or redded. It’s the correct color code and makes it seem as if it should be working. Also, that is a genuine response from a game master saying that it should be working with surv’s kill command.

Yes, I’m aware. My point is that it should show on the tooltip as well, or should work for both specs.

There is precedent here with Azerite traits for e.g. Serpent Sting, which would work for SV baseline or for MM if you had SrS talented.

Yeah probably the effect should gray out if it isn’t active for your spec, the same way primary stat on gear does.

I think the final point here is that a GM replied to the ticket and said it should be working.

I realize they aren’t game designers but survival deserves options. It’s the least played spec of any class by far, despite being a fun and intricate spec with a high skill cap.

Let the boys play as they say.

How can I get this thread the attention it deserves? Pass it along to some streamers and youtubers?

Imagine how much easier it’d be if you just weren’t snide and flippant towards people.
You wouldn’t even need to justify yourself in these long drawn out off-topic posts.

I mean, I mentioned earlier I’m not against that at all. I was just responding to Strippen about why someone might pick it, and just gave my reasoning was all.
